Jose Prado was a beloved father who wholeheartedly supported the education journey of his daughter to become the first college graduate in their family.

Forging a new path for one’s family takes courage, determination, and resilience. First-generation students are forced to overcome a multitude of obstacles in order to reach the same outcomes as their peers, and in doing so, they’re able to open opportunities for the rest of their families.

This scholarship aims to honor the life of Jose Prado by supporting students who are the first in their families to pursue a college degree.

Any Hispanic first-generation undergraduate student may apply for this scholarship opportunity.

To apply, tell us about your personal journey, your role models, what obstacles you’ve overcome, how Jose’s legacy impacts you, your philanthropic vision, and the power of education.
