This scholarship aims to honor the life of Cedrick’a Jackson by supporting students who are pursuing degrees in the medical field and/or have been diagnosed with Sickle Cell Disease.

This scholarship will support one student in any field of study who has battled with mental health, has a loved one who has in the past or currently is experiencing mental health concerns, or is interested in pursuing a field that will support mental healthcare through practice or research (psychiatry, neuroscience, doctor, psychology, etc.).

This scholarship seeks to support disadvantaged African American students from disadvantaged communities who aspire to become doctors.

This scholarship is perfect for graduate students pursuing a career in oncology social work or current oncology social workers with student debt.
