I love the opportunities that the Social Work program allows students to get involved within the community and be able to job shadow and navigate what they want to do in social work.
The changes with the programs, social life, and the restrictions of social life that we have.
I became more involved later in my time at my MWSU, but I enjoyed the time while there. It is much cheaper than surrounding colleges/universities and although it has a large campus, it is quite small in its' feel.
I would have liked to have seen more community-involved events as well as more social spaces on campus. There had been conversation about these spaces before I graduated, however, the school was poorly managed by school administrators leaving spaces such as these at the bottom of their list of priorities.
Missouri Western has brought me out of my shell in ways that I didn't know were possible. I have the active social life of someone at a bigger university but the one-on-one discussions with a professor like a student at a community college.
The dining hall has its days when the food is lesser than normal days, but overall it has a lot of options.
