Bio

My name is Sophia. I’m studying art and creative writing with a dream of becoming a writer for middle grade readers. I want to help kids through my fiction, including children in foster care or children who may be experiencing domestic violence. I also want to teach kids about current issues in ways that are easy to understand. I’ve been writing and drawing since I was a kid, and I’ve always been passionate about sharing my stories. I’ve already illustrated one book “Let’s Get Dressed.” I’ve also been approached by writers for upcoming projects. Hopefully this will help me get my foot in the door for my own future work. I think art and literature has the amazing capability to tell the truth, in a way little else can. I hope I can share the way I see the world through these mediums, and help others through doing so.
