I really liked how it was close to downtown, and the diversity was also really cool.
I did not like how the campus looked, or how there was no school spirit.
It’s a very diverse campus, there is a spot for everyone!
It can get loud on campus at times
In my experience, UIC has been a great school for me to explore my career and social life.
While I was on living on campus, it felt empty at times. This was mostly due to the fact that it is a big commuter school.
Everyone is there to help you succeed. That is something many might night find at another college.
Being a commuter you sadly lose the college experience feel but other than that the university is amazing!
It’s a nice place to be, with lots of students around, lots of class options. Not too many social events, but that wasn’t something I was looking for much. There is plenty of places to go, good study spaces, good atmosphere.
There aren’t too many healthy options for things to eat on campus. Many places tend to be loud, and it can often be hard to find privacy.
The location is easy to access in downtown Chicago.
Expensive to live near the campus.
