Messiah University is a friendly community. You get to know your professors well if you want to. Moreover, Messiah University has strong academics, especially in the Chemistry department.
It is better to have more research opportunities. I know the school did try to provide research opportunities.
1. Messiah University broaden students' education 2. Messiah University likes a small community 3. Teachers here as good and trusted friends 4. Learning here connect us with life and Christianity
According to some students now or previously studying at other colleges, Messiah University fosters a warm environment where friends and helps are permeating. In addition, owing to the "Christ Preeminent" campus community, respect and encouragement are respectably prominent. Even international students can comfortably fit in Messiah community without barrier so long as they put down their initial defenses. Even communication barrier can be gone even if they (including me) stutter much!! Discrepancies are acceptable and negotiable, thus rendering the community prodigiously open (as for opinion, not physically or bodily).
More research opportunities are expected, particularly the ones that would produce journal articles. That's all. Thus Messiah University is nothing bad as long as research opportunities are not in considerations.
This is a remarkable school that provides its students with countless opportunities, including research, academic guidance, and service opportunities. The student to teacher ratio is very low, which means that students have more opportunities to be supported by the professors. All professors are kind, encouraging, accessible, ardent about teaching, and willing to help. Finally, Messiah University is a school with a great sense of solidarity and team spirit.
Messiah College is a nice place. They seem to really care about their students. All the teachers and students are really nice and helpful.
There are a few professors I've had that are not the best. Though I love a lot of my professors and they are amazing people.
I love the overall safety I feel on campus, and as a Christian, it is great to have chapels integrated into the semester. The Engineering concentration can be pretty stressful at times, but at the same time, the hands-on parts are quite fun. The bonding you get to do with assigned team members as your team completes projects is an enriching experience.
Most of what I don't like particularly applies to the engineering courses, the courses are very thorough, but the workload can become a bit overbearing and end up stressing you out to fall down a slippery slope if you don't stay on top of it.
