I love James Madison University! There are a variety of resources available to ensure your success. The university always has activities happening around campus, so you don't have to look very far to find something to do. I would 100% recommend JMU and have never regretted my choice of coming here.
Some dorms are outdated, but they are kept very clean and everything is safe!
I felt a sense of community and belonging within my peer group for my major. The professors were supportive but also pushed you academically and professionally.
It was difficult as a transfer student living off-campus to find support or someone to provide direction at first.
Go to JMU. Best school for your money.
Lots of hills on campus.
I liked the scenery of the mountains that surrounds the campus.
I didn't like the attitudes and demeanors of a majority of the students.
Awesome four years!
Being involved with sports, clubs, student organizations, etc. is the best way to learn more about yourself. There's always something new to interact with or be a part of, and everyone is welcoming.
JMU is a fine school with great opportunities.
