I love James Madison University! There are a variety of resources available to ensure your success. The university always has activities happening around campus, so you don't have to look very far to find something to do. I would 100% recommend JMU and have never regretted my choice of coming here.

Some dorms are outdated, but they are kept very clean and everything is safe!

I felt a sense of community and belonging within my peer group for my major. The professors were supportive but also pushed you academically and professionally.

It was difficult as a transfer student living off-campus to find support or someone to provide direction at first.

Being involved with sports, clubs, student organizations, etc. is the best way to learn more about yourself. There's always something new to interact with or be a part of, and everyone is welcoming.

It is hard as a first-generation immigrant child to make ends meet, especially because of the school's lack of emphasis on providing meaningful aid.
