I like the diversity in the student body and the hands-on course for my major.
Academic advisors are always hard to reach leaving you to fend for yourself.
Florida International University is a place that feels like home. It is a university that welcomes you with open arms and provides you with amazing experiences, support, resources, and guidance. I like how warm and kind people are and the classes are great. The fact that FIU offers both online and in-person classes is an excellent opportunity because I am able to manage my time more efficiently.
Something I didn’t like is that not all courses are available online. In addition, I have noticed that there are not many online events or online organizations which may make online students feel a little bit isolated
I like the opportunities they offer with studying abroad and the NSE program.
I'm not sure yet, I think maybe that it is a very large school with lots of people but I think that's also a good thing.
I love the helpful staff and the amazing teachers.

My time at FIU was worth it because of the extracurricular I involved myself with. FIU isn't a great experience if you just go to class and go home, you have to get involved to meet people and really enjoy the time there.
Some professors and coursework, in general, can be lax, and not prepare you as well as you think.
The events that they would have for programs related to health, financial wellness, etc
Having to pay $1000 to cancel living on campus.
