These schools are similar to California State University-Los Angeles in key aspects like size, setting, and academics.
100% of students
I like that there are many courses to choose from. However, I wish that the buildings and technology in the buildings were more up to date. But the professors and Exercise Science program have been an enjoyable experience and would recommend to prospective students.
Just be aware that the school itself is good but you have to be very independent and on top making your own advisor appointments and reaching out to the services you may need.
The education there was amazing, especially for students looking to become therapists. They have a mobility center that allows you to act as a therapist and you will receive a grade for it. The professors are amazing and extremely helpful. The professors put their time into students and do everything humanly possible to help you pass (if you seek help). People at the school are so friendly and everyone is in their own space. If you are a veteran or a dependent I recommend going to the VRC, they help and answer all questions (especially when it comes to benefits).
The food court had many options but it was not the best or something popular. Some parts of campus looked a bit dirty and some classrooms still had chalks boards. Since most buildings are out of date there's always construction work going on.
I liked how all-inclusive the campus was. They support people from all gender identities and backgrounds. They had so many groups and organizations to join. The most important part about the school that I loved was the dorms.
If your dorm doesn't use the main staircase to campus, you will get tired fairly quickly.
it is all very manageable and there are a lot of resources.
not much socially and is a small campus
I had excellent professors, it was affordable and it had fun student clubs.
Although CSULA has added more parking structures, finding parking was dreadful.
The professors are really informative and helpful, CSULA is a good school to get a degree asap :)
Crowded campus with not enough parking.
