I enjoy that campus life at Angelo State University is friendly and welcoming! Social events have always been amazing and there are also opportunities to further your respective career path! I have personally attended events pertaining to business, but there are a variety of others! If you love to meet new people and grow your career, Angelo State University may be the place for you!
Despite the many things I like about Angelo State University, I would change one thing. These would be the response times of faculty and staff. In some instances, emails that I send will have a response within hours while others may take days. This gets annoying at times especially when you need a response as soon as possible, but I also understand that they may be busy at the time I email them. Nonetheless, I enjoy my stay at Angelo State University!
I like that it is a small school. I also like that it is now part of Texas Tech.
There is little to do in San Angelo for college-aged people.
I enjoy the small classes and the availability of professors, as there are not as many students as compared to big universities like UT. I also like how everything on campus is within walking distance of each other.
I think that ASU needs updates to most of the buildings and dorm rooms, not limited to the most expensive dorm Texan Hall. Also, Chartwells' staff needs to be kinder to people, and they need to be more prepared for lunch and dinner rushes. Additionally, there need to be more allergen-friendly food places, especially for people who have celiac disease.
