Mental health should be a priority for everyone, but the remaining stigma around mental illnesses has led to a lack of resources and support for those who struggle.
For students who are already struggling with their mental health, the stress created by the academic and financial requirements of college can be enough to lead to a mental crisis.
This scholarship aims to support the mental health of those who are pursuing higher education by relieving some of the financial stress of college.
Any student who struggles to balance a need to be perfect with the financial stress and anxiety they face while pursuing their education may apply for this scholarship.
