Addiction comes in many forms and can be difficult to overcome, often affecting one’s personal life and family.

Roughly 21 million Americans have at least 1 addiction, with many people facing illness or death as a result of substance abuse. Unfortunately, only 10% of those with addictions receive treatment, making it difficult for the majority of those with addictions to overcome them.

This scholarship seeks to support students who have been affected by a parent’s addiction so that they can pursue higher education.

Any undergraduate or graduate student who has at least a 3.0 GPA and has been affected by a parent’s addiction may apply for this scholarship.

To apply, tell us if you believe the statement is true and describe how your parent’s addiction relates to it.
