SAN FRANCISCO (March 15, 2022) – Today, Actor, Athlete, Comedian and Activist, Terry Crews, awards his $20,000 Terry Crews "Creative Courage" Scholarship to Tahliyah Hodge from Bassett, Virginia. Tahliyah was selected out of thousands of applicants, and she will use the $20,000 scholarship for her education in performing arts.
Terry created the scholarship on Bold.org in July 2021 to encourage and support amazing creatives, like Tahliyah, to pursue their dreams. He personally shared the exciting news with Tahliyah by surprising her on a Zoom call. On the call, Terry thanked Tahliyah for applying and encouraged her to keep pursuing performing arts.
