I am a first generation college student, and I want nothing more then to peruse high education. I have volunteered for my local special olympics since I could remember, and my oldest brother has special needs as well so he has been a huge influence on why I want to major in Special Education. I am so passionate about my family, I want nothing more then to make them proud of me. But unfortunately they are helping me pay for college until I get on my feet. And I'm afraid I'm putting them in too much debt. I have such a drive to become a teacher, thinking about helping my future students, makes me smile instantly. I want to help people/ kids for the rest of my life. I want to try to make this world a better place, and maybe, just maybe by becoming a teacher, I'll put an impact of individuals who need it.
