Bio

I would describe myself as a strong Black woman who does not let anyone or anything stop her from trying to fulfill her education. My goal is to finish with my bachelor degree with little debt as possible and find a good job while searching for law schools. I want to one day own my own law firm and help others get to where I would be. Something that I am most passionate about would be my family as well as school. I have come so far and would loose everything i have worked for if I gave up now due to money issues. I believe God makes a way out of no way so I put my trust and faith in him. My mom and brother are my number one priority. I would make a great candidate for any scholarship because I am driven. I want it to achieve my goals and will do so by any means necessary. I come from a single parent home where my mom struggles to make ends meet but never gives up. I have watched her not eat someday so that my brother and I can. She has made so many sacrifices for us and I just want to better my education so that I can return the favor. I will also make a good candidate for any scholarship because I want my education bad as ever and will fight until the end. I know a few people who have dropped out of school because of money issues and I refuse to be in that bunch. Money will not stop me from perusing my life. Life has always hit me in the face with many challenges to the point that I want to give up and throw in the towel but it was God who kept me and told me he would never give me a test I could not get through. Receiving any kind of help would really lift a lot of weight off of my shoulder. Sometimes we are our own enemy meaning we find a way to say maybe this is not for me or listen to people who do not believe, but I have replaced all negative with positive thoughts and it has really helped out a lot. This scholarship is not only about the money but it would mean so much more for me such as open doors I can focus more on my education and less o stressing about how I will pay it or worried about getting kicked out and not having a place to stay. I believe that I would make a great candidate and if I am chosen I will not let you down! Thank you for taking your time to read what I have to say, Hope to here from anyone soon! God Bless!
