I have always known what I wanted to do. My whole life I knew I would become a nurse because my whole family is part of the medical field so nothing else really peaked my interest. Right out of high school I went to a 4 year college but decided after one semester I could not pay for it myself. I was not getting help from my parents so I decided to go to a community college. I transferred to Manchester Community college in 2016 and started taking classes again. I had a lot of family problems come up so I took a break from school for a year and a half but this summer I decide it was time for me to get back to school. I am not a normally college student. I am 23 and I am already married to the love of my life so I have a great support system behind. I am taking my prerequisite at MCC and within the next year I will transfer to Capital Community college in Hartford to do their nursing program they have. My schooling has not gone the way I would wanted it to but I am trying my best to get to the place I want to be.
